Christy L. Bill is a Vocational Nurse Program Coordinator for the Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts. Specializing in critical care and cardiac nursing, Ms. Bill makes the most of proficiencies that have been honed over the course of an illustrious nursing career by overseeing the operation of the vocational nurse program, supervising faculty and curriculum development, and coordinating clinical rotations. The school she serves teaches adults to become LVNs, and currently has 150 students enrolled; the school’s first class of 45 will graduate this year. Inspired by her mother, Ms. Bill pursued a career in nursing so as to help people to achieve optimal health. Outside of her nursing career, Ms. Bill and her husband run a business called Optima Property Solutions. In looking forward to a bright future, Ms. Bill hopes to become the program director and be a published author.
