With over 30 years of professional experience, Mrs. Sposeto attributes her success to her belief that every patient deserves the best health care. An expert in critical care nursing, medical-surgical nursing and utilization management, Mrs. Sposeto also lends her experience to Clarke County Hospital as a nurse manager, she is in charge of coordinating effective, evidence-based care for complex and critically ill patients. Mrs. Sposeto previously worked as the review coordinator for the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care, as well as for the Department of Veteran Affairs where she worked with critically ill veterans in the intensive care unit. Prior to going to the VA hospital, Mrs. Sposeto worked in a nursing home and long term psychiatric facility as a licensed practical nurse. No matter what position she held, Mrs. Sposeto delivered compassionate health care to every patient she saw and set the bar very high for others in the health care field. She is a strong advocate for letting patients decide what is right for them. Mrs. Sposeto believes that the keys to becoming a successful nurse are a dedicated passion for each patients health and a quality education.

Mrs. Sposeto is a member of the Iowa Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. In 2009, she received a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing at The University of Iowa in 2003, and received an associate degree in nursing in 1991 from Des Moines Area Community College. She earned her certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant in 2010 and then preceded to open Sposeto & Davis Clinical Consulting.
