Yakima, WA, May 16, 2011, Dionetta Hudzinski, Nurse Consultant for Comfort Care Unlimited and Clinical Professor for Washington State University, has been recognized by Elite American Nurses for dedication, achievements and leadership in nursing and wellness education.

Ms. Hudzinski’s began her career in nursing more than 40 years ago following an incident that hospitalized her. She became so inspired by the nurses caring for her that she decided to dedicate herself to alleviating the pain of others. In 1969, she made her first steps when she completed an associate degree in applied science and earned a registered nurse designation. She continued on to further her education at Syracuse University and the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a master’s degree in nursing, respectively. Additionally, she became a certified nurse practitioner and gained certification in complementary therapies.

Now, Ms. Hudzinski demonstrates her extensive knowledge in pain management as a clinical profession at Washington State University. She also started her own company, Comfort Care Unlimited, which provides care services to clients and caregivers of the state of Washington’s Community Options Program Entry System. Recognized with numerous awards for her contributions to the field, Ms. Hudzinski holds many memberships to organizations, including the Washington-Alaska Pain Initiative and the American Society of Pain Management Nursing.
