Ms. Odom has 30 years of professional experience and now serves as one of the outcomes managers in the clinical excellence department at St. Vincent’s East. She is primarily responsible for congestive heart failure core measures. She works closely with physicians on a daily basis to ensure these measures are met. She also assists with patient education for congestive heart failure patients and does follow-up telephone calls postdischarge. Ms. Odom was in case management for 10 years prior to accepting her current position. She also teaches part time at Jefferson State Community College in their night and weekend nursing program.
