G. Helen Vierra, LVN is a Licensed Vocational Nurse with Kings Comprehensive Women’s Healthcare. She excels in delivering top of the line patient care, and in her capacity, she admits new patients, obtains medical histories, draws blood and administers injections. She is also responsible for educating patients on sexually transmitted diseases, birth control and prenatal care. She served in the United States Navy for two years between 1966 and 1968, where she met her husband and moved to Hanford, California. She began working as a surgical technician at a hospital and stopped her career to have a family. She went back to school and earned accreditation to practice as an LVN from Hanford Adult School in 1985. Ms. Vierra has worked at Kings Comprehensive Women’s Healthcare for 25 years. She remains current of trends and developments in health care as a member of the National Association of Professional Women, and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi.
