Over the years as the head nurse of the University of Connecticut’s correctional managed health care division, Ms. Chambers has acquired a broad spectrum of knowledge in health care, including nursing, acute care, rehabilitation, home care and psychiatric holistic health care. In 1986, she graduated from the University of Bridgeport with an associate degree in nursing. She furthered her skill set with certifications in intravenous home therapy and cardiopulmonary resuscitation instruction.

Moving forward, Ms. Chambers hopes to become a clinical psychologist.
