Driven by her desire to help others, Ms. Mohr Eaton attributes her successful 26-year career in nursing to her strong sense of patient advocacy. She has spent 12 years as a staff nurse at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where she conducts triage, assesses patients in the emergency room. Holding a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pittsburg State University, Ms. Mohr Eaton maintains her nursing expertise through her participation in the advanced level of the hospital’s continuing education department’s nursing practice recognition program. She is also pursuing further certification in fetal monitoring. She hopes to become a leader in the unit in the near future.
