Lori A. Striblin is the Director of Nursing for the Columbus Regional Healthcare System, a trusted health care system based in Columbus, Georgia. A strong leadership background enables Mrs. Striblin to effectively manage the operations of the long-term care facility, and supervise a talented staff consisting of 170 people. She oversees human resources records and budgets, manages the care given to residents and patients to ensure optimal results, and oversees the rehabilitation center. In addition, Mrs. Striblin engages in quality assurance, and ensures the matching of reimbursements to claims, and that state regulations are being met. Mrs. Striblin achieved acknowledgement for her work and dedication for excellence within the organization. Mrs. Striblin’s Peers honored her with the Nurse Leader Award for 2010. Mrs. Striblin is directly involved with infection prevention, emergency management, and quality control programs for process improvement for healthcare outcomes. Mrs. Striblin volunteered her services to the development of the Healthy People 2020, and was invited to Washington December 2010 for the unveiling of the new program.
