She has been a Registered Nurse First Assistant since 1995. Ms. Emery’s greatest career achievement thus far has been working in Afghanistan with the Peace Corps from 1967 through 1970. She and her husband Cedric, a urologist, also went back to Afghanistan from 2002 through 2006, where they worked in a urology clinic. She is the proud grandmother of a grandson named Dylan.
