Pamela Howell Banks, RN, BSN, CRRN is a Nurse Supervisor for the Department of Correction. When seeing the inmates, Ms. Banks answers any questions or concerns that they may have. She is also in charge of assisting the doctor when visiting clinics. Ms. Banks holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, which she obtained from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She feels that she has been able to thrive professionally due to her genuine and innate capacity to care for others. She chose to follow her career path after finding out that her husband had to relocate for his job. She is involved in the Bethel AME Church, where her husband serves as the pastor. Together, they maintain the Wellness Healthy Living Program that she started at the church. Her husband has been a pastor for 23 years and the Pastor of this church for four years.
