An expert in medical education and patient care, Patricia Ensley was determined to continue in the health care field after retiring seven years ago. Previously a nurse for 43 years, she now instructs a medical terminology course at Isothermal Community College to students pursuing a certified nursing assistant credential. Ms. Engsley’s exposure to diverse people in nursing and education has refined her perspective and made for a rewarding career. Having earned a diploma in nursing from Rutherford Hospital, she accredits her success to her personal drive and compassion for others.
