Within the School of Nursing at Provo College, Velma McInnis Edmonds serves as nursing program administrator, a position she has held for eight years. An expert in adult health care, she is responsible for overseeing infection control research, delivering lectures and presentations around the world, and administering nursing care. She graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center with a Doctor of Nursing Science, and she has pursued coursework in Guatemala. Currently, Ms. Edmonds is conducting research on recent immigrants with regards to their viewpoints on health, illness and nutrition.
