Virginia Gowden shines in the areas of hospice, allergy, immunology and home health nursing. With more than 35 years of professional experience under her belt, she strives for excellence in her every endeavor. She became involved in her profession because she had a personal health experience with her mother and fell in love with nursing ever since. Ms. Gowden pinpoints the most gratifying aspects of her career as her being able to help people, patients and their families, and to see the relief on their faces when she is able to aid them. On a daily basis, she administers care to patients in the allergy, immunology, neonatal intensive care and hospice units. Ever passionate about being of top-notch assistance to others, Ms. Gowden also supports a myriad of worthy causes, including St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Arthritis Foundation. She also donates quilts to Shriners Hospitals for Children. In addition, Ms. Gowden is the owner of the Professional Registry of the Northeast.
