She worked at the Swedish Cancer Institute for five years as a supervisor in the infusion center. Ms. McAllister is a Certified Nurse through the Oncology Nursing Society, and she holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and an RN through the University of Portland. She attributes her success to excellent mentors who trusted her and provided her with great opportunities to succeed. She is a high achiever and feels the best way to get results is to be kind and fair, look at the bigger picture and allow staff members to have involvement in decisions affecting their work environment.
