Lisa M. Eller, RN, BSN is a special deputy registered nurse at Miners Medical Center. Ms. Eller has been serving in the medical industry for the past 26 years, with 10 years in her current post. An expert in emergency medicine, she is tasked with assisting patients in the emergency room and intensive care units, and attending patient safety committee meetings. Ms. Eller believes the most rewarding part of her career has been having the chance to work with so many different people and touching so many different people’s lives. She enjoys waking up every day knowing she gets to make a difference in lives of her patients and bring some peace of mind and healing power to them. Aside from her work at the Miners Medical Center, Ms. Eller provides her services on a voluntary basis to flu shot clinics. She is also authorized to perform exams on adult victims of rape and other sexual assaults as she holds a SANE-A Certification. Ms. Eller attributes her success to her hard work, passion and desire to make a difference. In the future, she would like to get involved in teaching and inspire the next generation of nurses.
