Mariamma Abraham always wanted to be doctor, and was exposed to the medial field while living in India when her father took her to get a job in a lab in New Delhi. She found an opportunity to work in America as a nurse, emigrated over, and has been working toward her goal of serving the poor and needy and sick ever since. Ms. Abraham has dedicated 39 years of service to the nursing profession and has garnered a reputation for inspiring and motivating up-and-coming professionals. As a registered nurse and RN instructor at Kensington Hospital, she is responsible for handling medical services, including emergency care, rehab and detox. Ms. Abraham is a three-time recipient of the Employee of the Year award and received ample recognition for her dedication to the profession. Although she is highly successful, Ms. Abraham is extremely proud of being credited with helping five RN students to become RNs in India and paid their tuition and expenses. All of them are now working with very good salaries. Ms. Abraham continuously looks for ways to better serve patients, which is why she is always obtaining new certifications and degrees. She intends to further her education by finishing her nurse practitioner training and earning a Ph.D.
