Rhonda Creech is the manager of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Vidant Medical Center, a 50-bed teaching hospital. Ms. Creech always wanted to be a nurse, and has spent the past 22 years honing her skills in the field. An expert in leading and managing teams, she is responsible for managing the budget, overseeing 120 employees, conducting research, and ensuring that patients are receiving the highest quality care. Prior to attaining her current position, Ms. Creech was a bedside nurse for five years and worked as a nurse practitioner. She thoroughly enjoys working in neonatal care and feels privileged to assist these tiny patients in getting healthy and strong. She believes that she has excelled over the course of her career because she is passionate her work and is determined to a top nurse in the field. Ms. Creech stays abreast of changes in the field through her affiliation with The Academy of Neonatal Nursing, The American Organization of Nurse Executives, and National Association of Neonatal Nurses.
