Salinas, CA, January 12, 2015, Sondra Traylor Lee, RN, BSN, has been recognized by Elite American Nurses for dedication, achievements and leadership in patient care.

Ms. Lee always wanted to be a nurse because she loved people and fixing things. She has dedicated 31 years of service to the field, and is well-respected amongst her peers and patients. While she was a well-rounded nurse, Ms. Lee particularly excelled in the areas of cardiology, critical care and pacemaker defibrillation. She retired from the University of California San Francisco where she served as a clinical nurse III in the UCSF Adult Cardiology Stress Laboratory for 20 years.

Throughout her career, Ms. Lee put great emphasis on delivering the best care possible. She wanted to take care of people and did so in a variety of capacities. She prided herself on treating the whole person and putting their needs first. She attributes her success to believing in “do onto others as you would want them to do to you.” Ms. Lee would like to continue providing patients with high quality care by furthering her education and exposing herself to new technology and trends in the field.
